Cross Country Saskatchewan is offering an L2T Dryland Coaching Course the weekend of September 21-22-23. This course is being held in conjunction with the CCS Fall Dryland Training Camp that's taking place at the same time. The link to register is: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=18639.
Friday, September 21 - 6:30PM-10:00PM
Saturday, September 22 - 8:30AM-5:30PM
Sunday, September 23 - 8:30AM-3:30PM (will try to finish at 1:00PM)
Pre-requisite: Community Coach Trained
Bring lunch for Saturday and Sunday as the course will only stop for 30 minute lunch breaks.
Re-read the following sections prior to attending the course - Making Ethical Decisions AND Safety and Risk Management (will be emailed to you). These materials will be discussed in class but will save 2-3 hours of class time if everyone pre-reads the reference materials.
For the outdoor sessions, the course will proceed rain, shine or snow so come prepared (e.g., change of clothing and dress very warm). Please bring running shoes, classic and skate poles, classic and skate roller skiis, ski boots, safety vest or bright clothing and a bike helmet (MANDATORY). If you don't have these items, please let the instructor know so equipment arrangements can be made and indicate what type of bindings you need.
