Benefits & Services

 Members of Cross Country Saskatchewan have access to a variety of benefits:

  • MAP – Membership Assistance Program allows clubs to access funding for their clubs and membership
  • Liability Insurance – clubs are covered by a comprehensive liability insurance package through their membership with Cross Country Saskatchewan (CCS) and Cross Country Canada (CCC)
  • Saskatchewan Nordic News - each registered cross country member household will receive all issues of the association newsletter per season
  • CCS Financial Assistance – providing members and clubs financial support for a variety of programs
  • Provincial Competition Series – CCC sanctions a provincial race series with host clubs
  • Annual Loppet Newsletter – all cross country members receive this publication in December as part of the Nordic News with information and registration for Loppets 
  • Certification Programs – club members can register for any certification clinic or leadership training CCS offers 
  • Program Supplies & Materials – registered clubs are able to purchase any supplies and materials available from CCS at member prices
  • Youth Programs Benefits – ALL youth members receive a Jackrabbit enrollment kit, leader and coach development
  • Education – workshops are held for clubs and members only
  • Development – CCS members can participate in programs for racing, coaching, northern development, tracksetting and grooming, leadership, instructing, technical advances and others
  • Publicity – CCS can promote provincial and club events during the season though our website and newsletter
  • Voting Rights – member clubs have the power to determine the future of skiing in Saskatchewan.  The more members a club has, the more votes a club has at the CCS Annual General Meeting
