Peak Performance. No Matter the Condition.

Do you have what it takes?

The Cross Country Saskatchewan (CCS) High Performance Committee sets the criteria for selecting up to 16 Provincial Team (PT) athletes in the U16, U18, and U20 categories.

These athletes are chosen based on their race results, dedication to training, and commitment to achieving high-performance goals. Selected athletes gain access to additional training, resources, and race support through the Athlete Development Program (ADP).

High performance athletes don’t just show up on race day - they train tirelessly year round to be their best

CCS high performance athletes commit to year-round training, goal-setting, and continuous growth. Their determination to show up and perform under any condition is exceptional.

It’s about pushing boundaries through intensive training, attending workshops, and competing in races across the province. These athletes set ambitious goals and put in the work to achieve them, constantly striving to reach new heights.

Funding Criteria

Cross Country Saskatchewan (CCS) provides funding to support athletes at all levels, from base-level competitors to elite high-performance athletes.

The Athlete Development Program (ADP) ensures promising athletes receive the necessary resources to compete both provincially and nationally. Through Base Level Funding, CCS assists racing teams of member clubs, while the ADP Provincial Team supports accomplished athletes who have proven their skills.
